    • Hello people,

I'm very new to cars and my license is barely a year old. Hoping seasoned car owners surfing the forum have some advice to share.

Since I'm a very new driver and obtained my license in August 07, the set of insurance purchased from NTUC under my own name for my first car was sky high. I was given a quote of $2880 for the whole year.

Now that my license is approaching a year old, the current insurance into it's 6th month, I'm wondering whether there are options for cheaper rates soon.

      Questions:

Can I request for a different insurance quote after my first year?

Is it advisable to opt for a different insurance company?

I'm weighing my options and I doubt it's necessary for me to continue paying the same amount every year right?
