      i really louya pok at driving directions and will confirm go wrong route. definitely buying a GPS.

      now here's what i am looking for....

      - budget is $350 to $410
      - can key in postal code/building name/road name to get to destination
      - voice guidance to tell me directions,
      eg, to keep left "keep left, turn left in 300m", "keep left, turn left in 200m"
      - updated and updatable  map
      - place where i can buy it

      also pls share any other experience you have with GPS and the model you are using

      1. Go inside road tunnel, cannot work liao

       

      2. Keep looking at the navi LCD, get me into accident

    • garmin is really the better one, one of my friend is using.

      Up to date still stable.

    • Head over to Textile Centre, 200 Jalan Sultan Rd.

      Then go third floor, somewhere near the escalator

      there's this shop named allbright,

      i think they are the distributor.

      They got plenty of models there for you to choose.

       pardon my how lian, but i have use several of the GPS you mentione

       

      Holux GPSmile 53CLife

      this machine aint bad, going at 399SGD, but the searching result is abit slow..

      and with different map in the machine, occasionally may hang the machine..

       

      Garmin 200W

      this is also around 399SGD, however it cant use postal code to search and the map software is malsing which is quite terrible..

       

      among the best would be to buy Packard Bell 370

      easy to use and the map

    • go down to audio house.. they have gps starting from $199.. saw it in the papers today..

      ya i saw it too.. i considering to buy a gps system too. the $199 gps system got wad functions ah? any1 bought it?
